NOLA Project

The NOLA Project can be described as a theatre company. There are acting performers that were inspired by New Orleans and its energy. Some actors studied at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. They started this project for initializing a high standard company in New Orleans. Their goal is to perform classical and modern plays on the highest level of acting.

Productions

The NOLA Project already performed in cooperation with the Lakeviews Project. Lakeviews is an off-site bus tour that pictures site specific features of art, performance and music. The bus tour drives around the Lakeview neighborhood and shows different sights of this district. As well you will be informed about historical moments that happened there. After this cooperation with Lakeviews, the NOLA Project was in rehearsals for the summer time.

After a little break they performed “The Wind in the Willows” on July 18th, 2007. Their show guaranteed to impress all invited guests and to upset no one outside of the Weasel family.

Another interesting and high quality play was “The Lieutenant of Inishmore”. This show started on July 25th, 2007. It is one of the most important and captivating plays for hitting Broadway in years. As well the New York Times wrote in their news that this show is a “guaranteed adrenaline booster”.
